Shandong ZKFN Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (ZKFN SOLAR), was established in 2022 by a leading scientist and recipient of China’s National Natural Science Award. Backed by the pioneering work of a world-class research team—including scholars ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists and globally highly cited researchers—ZKFN Solar is committed to becoming a world-class, innovation-driven solar technology company.

Our mission is to address one of the solar industry’s most fundamental challenges: the inherent rigidity and brittleness of crystalline silicon solar cells. To tackle this issue, we developed TSR-Armor™ Technology (Tri-Scale Synergistic Reinforcement Technology), a breakthrough approach that integrates nanoscale deeply modified graphene oxide, microscale high-aspect-ratio fibers, and macroscale ultra-strong, weather-resistant resin to reinforce solar cells with an invisible protective structure.

This proprietary technology creates an “invisible armor” around the rigid and fragile solar cells, eliminating the need for the heavy, rigid, and brittle glass traditionally used in solar panels. The result is a new generation of ultra-lightweight, flexible, and durable solar panels that resist microcracking even under harsh conditions such as hail impact, vibration, and stepping on.

This innovation has enabled the industry’s first hail-resistant, crack-free lightweight flexible crystalline silicon module, as well as the industry’s first walkable, crack-free lightweight rigid crystalline silicon module. With lightweight design as the starting point, and reliability as the core of our technology, ZKFN Solar is leading a new era of photovoltaic by delivering lightweight PV solutions for a wide range of applications.
